Backstory
In the early to mid 2000's there were numerous companies to come online with screen sharing. It was powerful and simple. Then there was an industry rollup. All the free versions started disappearing after they had mastered their tech. And the pricing for the services tripled (or more). LogMeIn was the eventual winner and I'd tell you what the pricing is, EXCEPT THEY DON'T LIST IT ON THEIR WEBSITE ANYMORE...

Introduction - (original, prior to all the 2017-2018 games)
Chrome Remote Desktop is a browser extension/App. (or it was until 2018 when it became casper the ghost 3 or 4 different ways)
Until you get use to the concept of Chrome Apps and Extensions (and the ever shifting sands of this stuff) one of the hardest things with these kinds of tools is simply figuring out how to install them and then finding the icons that activate them once installed...
First, figure out if Chrome Remote Desktop needs to be installed in the current version of chrome. And how do you do figure that out?

First, figure out if Chrome Remote Desktop needs to be installed in the current version of chrome. And how do you do figure that out?
- If you can figure out how to get to your app launcher, that's the way to go -- but they keep moving that link/button access around so that's scavenger hunt #1
- If you can figure out how to get to your installed apps/extensions off the hamburger menu (as a primary menu item or subset of settings), that is also okay -- albeit they keep moving that around
- Easiest way that doesn't keep moving around is to go to the chrome store (BUT THIS DISAPPEARED IN LATE 2017)
- Another easy way is to google search for chrome remote desktop and that will give link to chrome store details page (BUT THIS DISAPPEARED IN EARLY 2018)
