T102.3 -- Google Mobile Phone Service (Project Fi)
In 2015 Google quietly launched a cell phone service. I heard about the launch of Pixel in October 2016 and I heard about the Project Fi service in November 2016 (so they weren't screaming about Project Fi in every Pixel promo, or I missed it).
Google is subcontracting service with Sprint, TMobile and US Cellular.
Plans are $20/month plus $10/GB. Additional user are added for $15/month. Additional data only sim cards for tablets and such available at no cost. You only pay for the data you use. If you only use 1.5 GB you only pay $15. If you paid for 2 or more, you'd get credit for over payment on next bill. If you under paid, you will be charged more as you go over (or on the next bill). They currently carry service over to 130 countries and no additional fees for international connectivity. Phones start at $200...
This is a no brainer... this cuts my current bill in half...
