T103.11a - Google Docs
Google Docs is Google's version of a Word Processor.
In general the interface and the functionality is very similar to MS Word 2002 or so (which isn't a bad thing in my opinion as I really liked the setup before Ms Word got overly bloated and added a crazy navigation ribbon).
The ability to share documents and co-create on them at the same time is amazing, and it is far different than syncing a word document. You are basically working on a mainframe which compiles each keystroke into the data stored in the cloud.
For most letters and documents under 40-50 pages, it is exceptional. I will still use word for very large documents and for documents that need exceptional formatting, but that is not very many documents for me.

Features
- You can upload .docx files to it and save them as .gdocs
- You can save gdocs as .docx files for opening in word
- You can save as pdfs and many other file formats
- The speed of opening, auto-saving and renaming can't be touched by Microsoft
- The interface simplicity is a welcome and appreciated relief for me
Cons
- You have less control of page breaks and "keep with next"
- You can't see paragraph markup
- The larger the document the more issues you may hit with slight typing delays
